This race is in its 40th year and is a favorite amongst many competitors. Runners come from all over the United States to attend this race held during the Annual Lampasas Spring Ho Festival and appreciate the challenge the course provides. Hosted by the Lampasas Chamber of Commerce, the proceeds from this race get put back into the community. AwardsMedals will be presented to the overall male and female race winners for both the 5K and 10K. Age group medals will be given for the top 3 male and female finishers in each age group for both the 5K and 10K. Overall winners are not eligible for age group medals.  The 1 Mile is a just for fun, timed event.  1 Mile Finishers will receive a ribbon.  5K & 10K Finishers will not receive a finisher medal but are eligible for age division awards/medals.


SwagEach athlete registered prior to June 23 at midnight will receive a t-shirt and goodie bag. Adult t-shirts are a tri blend and children t-shirts are a 50/50 blend.

5:30AM: Race Day Registration (Cash or Credit Card accepted) & Packet Pick Up Begins


6:30AM: Race Day Registration & Packet Pick Up Ends. Hancock Park Pavilion Parking Lot CLOSES. 7:00AM: Start Time for 1 Mile Fun Run, 5K and 10K 8:15AM:  Overall and Age Group Awards, 5K followed by the 10K


Timing and ResultsA timing chip will be attached to the back of your race number. In order to receive an accurate finish time, your number must be attached to the FRONT of your shirt and visible at the finish line. Do not remove, alter or tear the tag in any way. Timing services will be provided by Pro-Fit Race Timing. Live results can be viewed at profitracetiming.com and on location.


Aid StationsAid stations will be located at approximately every mile on the 5K and 10K course. Mile 4 and Mile 5 on the 10K course will also have a sports drink.


Safety & WeatherParts of the race course are open to vehicular traffic throughout the run. It is VERY important for you to stay alert throughout the race, stay inside cones and obey all race and traffic signage. Jogging strollers and dogs are permitted but must start in the back.


Races will be held rain or shine; however, if there is severe weather in the area the race start may be delayed or cancelled. As a reminder, registration fees are non-refundable.
